Bloomington Center For The Performing ArtsDescription: The Bloomington Cultural District is located in the north end of downtown Bloomington. With the start of the renovation of the Performance Center in March 2005, the Cultural District Office moved to the Creativity Center for Arts Education. The Creativity Center is located at 107 East Chestnut Street, one block north of the BCPA. The Cultural District Commission is a 14-member commission that is appointed by City Council. Commission members serve three-year terms and may be re-appointed at the discretion of the Council. The Commission meets every second Thursday of the month at 7:30 a.m. in the Conference Room on the ground-level floor of the Creativity Center. General public is welcome to attend.
